In order to help discover if the loot system in ANTHEM is actually broken, I would like to see the straight rate at which players receive legendary items. To make this as simple as possible, I am asking players to divide their total hours played, subtract 30 hours from that for approximate campaign and leveling time, and divide that by the number of Legendary Items they have looted (this excludes low level legendary reward items). This will give us a ratio of legendary items per hour of play time that can help us approximate what the average is. Here are my numbers for an example: 153 hours played, minus 30 hours standard deduction, divided by 25 Legendary Items, gives us a value of 4.92. That is 1 legendary item every 4.92 hours of play, so 1/4.92.
This is to collect uniform data. This does not account for play style, luck percentage, or any of the variable that may or may not factor in to loot drops. What I am trying to determine is that across the community, is there an actual average where the majority of players fall into one category, or if there is a mechanic that seems to separate players into diverging categories where some experience very high returns where others experience very low returns. This is not intended to be a debate on random number generation or the merits or drawbacks of low drop rates in general. Please just select the option that fits and we can go from there.
