r/Botany has big plans! Currently, we are interested in adopting a new sister subreddit focused more on the discussion of the science and methodologies in plant biology. This will include sharing and discussing literature, protocols and their caveats, and asking/answering general questions about plant biology pertaining to the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana.
We are currently trying to get an idea of who our community members on this subreddit are. Are you a practicing plant scientist or a plant hobbyist?
We expect to bring in readers from outside of /r/botany, but also hope to expect traffic from this subreddit.
All will be welcome to the new subreddit, but content will be more limited than here. r/botany will stay the same!
